PURPOSE:

The Technical Lead serves as the bridge between high-level solution design and hands-on delivery execution. This role translates sales and architectural concepts into clear, actionable technical plans for engineering teams. The Technical Lead partners with solution architects, clients, and delivery engineers to define configuration standards, develop implementation guides, and ensure consistent, high-quality solution delivery across cloud and infrastructure projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Translate conceptual sales solutions and architectural designs into detailed technical tasks and delivery plans.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Delivery Engineers, and clients to ensure alignment between design intent and practical implementation.
  • Develop and maintain standard configuration guides, templates, and technical documentation.
  • Serve as a decision-maker on technical standards, ensuring solutions align with organizational best practices and scalability requirements.
  • Review proposed engineering solutions for accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to delivery engineering teams.
  • Participate in solution reviews, quality assurance checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support pre-sales or scoping discussions as needed to validate clear expectations from SOW agreement to client onboarding.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline delivery processes and improve technical consistency across engagements.

MINIMUM SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in technical solution design, systems engineering, or related IT delivery role.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain industry standard professional-level certifications such as below:
    • Cloud solutions: M365, Azure, AWS, GCP or hybrid
    • Virtualization: VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V
    • Converged & Hyper-Converged Infrastructure
    • Microsoft: Windows Server, MCSA, MDE/MDO
  • Strong understanding of solution architecture principles and delivery lifecycles.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS, EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with O365/Azure cloud platforms, AWS, networking, server administration and enterprise infrastructure technologies 
  • Working knowledge of automation, scripting, or orchestration tools.
  • Experience in following tools:
    • Logic Monitor
    • ServiceNow
    • MSFT Suite – (Example InTune)
    • Apple Business Manager (ABM)
    • NinjaOne or Kaseya VSA

Starting Compensation: $120,000/year

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. The range is intended to reflect our commitment to attracting top talent, and the final offer will be based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's previous experience, expertise in the field, relevant certifications, and the specific requirements of the role. In addition, internal equity, market trends, and geographic location may also influence the final salary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for the duration of shift. The position is mainly sitting, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, such as laptop, server equipment, and, driving to the work site to meet with client(s).
